Jesus Quotes Challenge Your Opposition

“It has been said, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” But I say, “Do not to resist; ignorance.” But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to them also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.”

Challenge Your Opposition

This is first directed at our relationship with God. Even when we do not understand something by asking more questions and seeking more answers we are challenging God to show us what we want. I’ll guarantee He will provide more than we have ever reckoned for.

Revenge Something Within All

When someone does something to us that we do not agree with, I don’t know about you but my first thoughts are a desire of revenge, revenge appears in many different ways. Ignoring is one of the top forms of revenge that is used. This happens when people ignore the words they and others speak. No one is exempt from this activity, sometimes it is unavoidable. The more we ignore issues the more isolated we become. God and others can not help when we chose to have no part of them.

Do Not Run Away From Your Problems Challenge Them

With this instruction Jesus tells us not to run away from problems or seek vengeance. But to challenge the situations we find in our lives that we do not like (love Your Enemy). Do this by challenging ourselves and others with the principles of Jesus. Doing this provides an opportunity to learn and build a relationship with God and others.

Summary

So far Jesus has taught us to not be angry with ourselves, brothers and sisters but reconcile our differences, not to lust after desires that destroy our spirit, and how to communicate with each other. By following these principles we are able to look upon life as a student then engage with conversation. This type of respect alone increases the possibility to create respectable friends and learn.

It is impossible to not be confrontational with everyone. Jesus gives a teaching that says if we are not accepted that we are to shake off the spirit and move on. I believe all of these quotes work together in each situation. Only by taking the challenge to learn His quotes and apply them to our lives are we able to overcome the issues of life.

If we are unable to stand up and challenge things that we perceive are wrong, they will overtake our lives. When someone ask a question, search for the truth and engage that person as a student.

By using these principles we challenge ourselves and others then resolve issues that separate. If nothing else we will learn. Our first challenge should be incorporating these commands into our lives. These principles are intended for unification first with God and then with the people that are part of our lives.

Remember when reading any quotes from Jesus quotes it is important to read them as a parable to life and as a student. In doing this, look for continuity within all quotes and for multiple applications to your life. Please keep in mind my opinions are a reflection of my view of the quotes of Jesus. Parables speak to everyone at their own level.
